Growing up in Texas, I was fortunate to be surrounded with great music.  Country is King there, yet there’s also a lot of cool Rock and Blues, all in a thriving live music scene.  Getting to regularly see a variety of artists like George Strait, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Charlie Sexton, Jerry Jeff Walker and others are some of my earliest and most memorable concert experiences.  They say that “music is the soundtrack of our lives”, and, if that’s the case, then my soundtrack would be extremely diverse … just like the music you hear on The Drive.  I started in radio at a Country station 13 years ago in Lexington, KY where I went to school - go Cats!, and while most of my career has been spent playing hard rock music, I’m happy to be back playing a broader range of music that appeals to a broader range of people.
